The Magic Music Workshop conducted by Alef

The Parents Committee "Le3A" (*) (Accepting, Listening, Loving), formed in 2004 to open a summer camp at the school Cocomaro of Cona (Fe) on a project Anna Bellini teacher, decided to continue his work in education and cultural supports and maintains the laboratory project, "The magical Alef" run by the same teacher .(**)

In the period from May to June of this year, I had the opportunity to meet a group of teachers and mothers of the "Casa Federico, and with them we have dedicated to the music of our time. During five meetings, we realized some activities dedicated to listening to tunes and songs, to remember nursery rhymes, lullabies and little ditties, to hear and recite nursery rhymes and poems, nursery rhymes to create small and brief to reinvent other melodies to traditional nursery rhymes; to rediscover music and especially to begin a path to the rediscovery of music as "emotional value" between mother and child. Participation was voluntary and this has allowed us to carry out the activities in a friendly atmosphere and serene. Record your voice and listen to it again was an embarrassment but also fun. Languages, melodies, rhythms and words are mixed in these short meetings where the issue of continuous inspiration of the mothers were their children. In the last meeting we have built a small Maracchi, made with recycled materials: plastic cups, newspaper and colored papers. A little reminder to say goodbye in the hope of coming again to continue into the path of music as a universal value.
